Ambiquity Resolution in Search Engine Using Natural Language Web Application

چکیده
8 Abstract Our aim is to create NLWA technique which will be able to retrieve resources from a knowledge base in a more efficient way to respond to the ambiguity problem that occurs when performing the search using the search engine. This system was implemented with the fundamental concept of Natural Language processing (NLP) whereby it differentiates the similar meaning (synonyms) or multiple meaning (polysemous) of the word if it has any. The user’s NL question is processed in three steps. Firstly, the linguistic pre-processing, secondly the translation of the linguistic preprocessed user question into a computer readable and unambiguous form with respect to a given ontology, and thirdly the retrieval of pertinent documents. The NLWA is an intermediary which establishes a link between it and Google search engine and able to return and generate the synonyms or differentiate the meanings of the word that input in NLWA and produces output (expected results) directly from search engine.

Using the Web as an Implicit Training Set: Application to Structural Ambiguity Resolution
Recent work has shown that very large corpora can act as training data for NLP algorithms even without explicit labels. In this paper we show how the use of surface features and paraphrases in queries against search engines can be used to infer labels for structural ambiguity resolution tasks. Using unsupervised algorithms, we achieve 84% precision on PP-attachment and 80% on noun compound coor...
متن کاملShallow NLP techniques for internet search
Information Retrieval (IR) is a major component in many of our daily activities, with perhaps its most prominent role manifested in search engines. Today’s most advanced engines use the keyword-based (“bag of words”) paradigm, which concedes some inherent disadvantages. We believe that natural language (NL) is a more user-oriented, context-preservative and intuitive mechanism for web search. In...
متن کاملdesigning and implementing a 3D indoor navigation web application
During the recent years, the need arises for indoor navigation systems for guidance of a client in natural hazards and fire, due to the fact that human settlements have been complicating. This research paper aims to design and implement a visual indoor navigation web application. The designed system processes CityGML data model automatically and then, extracts semantic, topologic and geometric...

This paper presents the first version of a web application designed to convert queries in the Corpus Query Language to the natural language. The purpose of this application is to help users who want to learn and work with Corpus Query Language, providing tool to find out the explanation of the CQL query. In the future, when the application supports more features of CQL, it may be included as a ...
